We Can Remember It For You Wholesale by Philip K. Dick
Barn Theatre, London

Director Neha Hemachandra
Set and costume design Tzung-Hui Lauren Lee
Sci-fi novelette set in the 60s switching from false memory to reality.

For this set I was inspired by the use and aesthetic of the fax machine- a machine forgotten but of the future. The transferring of ideas and information practically but how it is able to add its own aesthetic as a machine, causing information loss or gained. This paired with Dick’s novelette inspired me to tell his story with this set about loss of memory, memory imagined and real.
